Ice Age

Listen up hi-def humbugs and Blu-ray Scrooges! This is the year you'll not just want, but need, to buy a new hi-def plasma screen and a shiny black Blu-ray player for Christmas (and/or whatever other holiday you choose to celebrate with lavish gifts). Why?  

Sid the sloth (voiced by John Leguizamo) yearns for a family so he 'appropriates' a nest of soon-to-hatch dinosaur eggs. Manny the woolly mammoth (Ray Romano) senses the folly of this endeavour. Sure enough, the eggs crack open, releasing three baby dinosaurs, and the mother comes looking for her stolen babies.  

Perhaps not quite as witty as the previous films, Ice Age 3 is great for post Sunday lunch viewing. Suspend your disbelief and you will laugh from beginning to end.Sid's attempt to adopt dinosaur eggs is thwarted by their mother. After hunting him down, he is abducted.  

The holidays are upon us and Blu-Rays, DVDs with or without digital copies, make great, easy to grab and wrap presents so we are starting to watch some and tell you what is out there for you (let's face it.. who doesn't buy themselves a gift or two?). Then there are your BFFs, significant others and, yes, it's necessary, even mom, dad and those annoying younger bros and sises, cousins etc. Here, in Part 1, is the info and our verdict on some hot animated films, some rom/coms, a little action and some tee

The holidays are bright this November and December on FOX. All-new seasonal installments of 'Lie to Me,' 'House,' 'Cops,' 'Bones,' 'Brothers,' 'Til Death,' and 'The Wanda Sykes Show' AND a night of all-new holiday-themed animation. Festive specials include 'Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special' Monday, Dec 7; 'Gordon Ramsay: Cookalong Live', Dec 15; and 'Billboard's New Year's Eve Live', Dec 31.  

Cleveland (Mike Henry) celebrates his first Thanksgiving with his new family, as well as his own parents, Cookie (guest voice Francis Callier) and Freight Train (guest voice Craig Robinson), and Donna's Auntie Momma (guest voice Kym Whitley). The holiday gets complicated when Roberta (Nia Long) and Federline (guest voice Jamie Kennedy) decide to celebrate on their own and Cleveland discovers a surprising secret about Auntie Momma.
